Crochet hook 1.8 mm, crochet thread size 10 (linen 3 ply thread), 1 strand.

Follow chart rounds counter-clockwise, as you make them (red ch stitch is the 1st stitch of this round). Often foundation round is made as a magic loop.
Rnd 1 (RS): ch 6, sl st in 1st ch.

You can see I made flower motif first, but pictures show motif with flower is being connected to motif with spaces. The order doesn't matter since the last row is the same. 












Finishing:

  • Block motifs with an iron on a steam mode.
  • Stitch motifs on the case along edges with a back stitch. Do not stitch on connecting picot-treble stitches between motifs. 
  • Glue a mirror to the inside of the case. Close the case, place a weight on, let glue set.
