New project. Crochet case purse mirror.

I called it Garden Gate Purse Mirror.
It's "easy " level pattern with step-by-step pictures, charts and written instructions and I also made first of this kind for me, but I hope not the last, teaching how-to-read-charts tutorial with step-by-step diagrams for this mirror, so it's a 2 in 1.
This projects consists of crocheting in rows and rounds, so it's all in there.

I wonder, though the majority of my readers are probably advanced level crocheters, how many of you out there would be interested in tutorials that teach how to read charts?
Happy crocheting, my friends!

  1. I, for on, would LOVE tutorials on reading charts!
I have been busy, busy doing a rather advanced project - but I'm not sure I would be able to do this without the excellent tutorials that were provided with the pattern. Now that I've done all these wonderful hooky stitches, I feel like they are all 'arrows in my quiver' and will be able to go forward.
I do know most of the symbols used in charts, but the direction of work...where to start and where to go from there, to me, are a bit confusing - and overwhelming at this point.
IF I could find good tutorials on reading charts I would be a Happy, Happy Hooker for sure!
    thanks for asking.

    1. Thank you for the response! I show directions in all my charts and in this tutorial it's shown extensively. :)))

  2. I want to add - I am so appreciative of all of you advanced crocheters who share so generously with those of us who want so much to advance our own skills!
Sometimes a simple thank you doesn't seem enough. I would gladly pay for such advanced patterns, tutorials, etc., but since I am on limited fixed income (forced to retire after severe injury), I cannot afford to do so. The awesome patterns, instructions, etc. that are available thanks to crocheters such as yourself are just so very appreciative!

    Thank you! Thank you!

  3. I would also love to have access to the tutorials! I am teaching a crochet class at our church and have been trying to advance some of the students onto using charts. There are several who are having trouble getting the concept down, but I am convinced that once they can "get it", the sky is the limit for them. :)

I would also like to thank you for all of your patterns you post. Your work has been very inspirational to me. Hoping and praying that you are able to get your green card soon!!

  4. Очень красиво! Богемно.

  5. I would love tutorials on reading charts/diagrams. Thanks!
