My new scarf with crochet edging.

Sometime ago I've got this thread at
http://halcyonyarn.com/products/yarn/1520040L.html

I have to say their #10 pearl cotton thread seems thinner than #10 we are used to of other brands, so this Homestead 8/2 Cotton Yarn feels like usual #10 cotton thread.

I absolutely love this color though it might seem not much, but I value the natural look of it. It's not pearl cotton so it's nos as durable and looks different, hand-made.

It wasn't hard to find matching fabric at Jo Anne. I would prefer something natural, like silk or linen, but there is not much of natural silk in Jo Anne and all linen fabrics are way to thick. I needed to see the fabric to be sure it goes with my thread. So I had to get this polyester one.

Here I am. I finally used my new speed-light to  shoot indoors. It's on my camera and I bounced light off the ceiling.

Happy crocheting, my friends!
Sorry for mistakes and my broken English.

Hi Rhonda! This link is in the post. Halcyon yarn, which I love for a broad variety of colors and fibers and the fact that they sell cones. Your blog is lovely! Congratulations!

    1. Thank you, Larisa! I am so after natural, I threw my mattress away. :) Are you ready to follow me? :)))))) I am waiting for my organic wool mattress to be delivered. It's thin, so I will be sleeping on boards.
